Alexander’s will hold the last pop-up farmers market of the spring season Sunday, June 5, 2016, from 10-2. JD Farms of Poplarville, Miss., will be our featured farmer with fresh blueberries.
Farm fresh eggs, strawberries, zucchini, squash, honey, goat milk and wheatgrass shots will be available as three dozen local farmers and food vendors showcase the fruits of their labor at the city’s largest Pop-Up Farmers Market to date on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Alexander’s Highland Market. Live music, face painting, free balloons, crepe-making, outdoor grilling, and a wide variety of Mother’s Day gift offerings will add to the festival atmosphere of this family-friendly event.
Local honey, fresh goat milk and cheeses, pasture-raised eggs, and pecan nut butters, oils, and granola as well as fresh tomatoes and beets are just a few of the treats available at Alexander’s Highland Market’s first pop-up of the year on April 3, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the front porch. Pennington Biomedical Research Center nutritionists will also be onsite sharing healthy recipe samples and other nutritional information.

Fifth-generation family business Liuzza Produce Farm Inc., will anchor Alexander’s Highland Market’s Pop-Up Farmers Market on Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., selling Creole tomatoes, bell peppers, green beans, cucumbers, yellow and zucchini squash, and eggplant grown in Tickfaw, La.
