Our front “porch” will be lined with white tents on Labor Day Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. as we host our 15th monthly Pop-Up Farmers Market featuring local farmers, small food vendors and artisans.

Liuzza Farms will bring fresh squash and cucumbers, and Davis Farms will bring farm fresh hen and duck eggs. City Gelato, a new business launching from the LSU AgCenter Food Incubator, will be selling fresh, local treats. And Pennington Biomedical Research Center will be here with samples of quinoa pilaf along with nutritional tips and guidelines. 

Other vendors scheduled include Old Soul Pickles, Ivy’s Pride Tamales, Momma Mia Authentic Italian Cookies, Fresina’s Pasta, Mom’s Garden, GrinningJupiter Jammery, Tres Bien Que, Kristine Stone Photography, children’s book illustrator Lauren Hawthorne, The Big Squeezy, Andi Lynn’s Elderberry Syrup, Truly Scrumptious, and more.
