Cooking healthy meals is a great way to educate your family about the importance of nutrition and to help kids develop a lifelong foundation for wellness. Join us for tips from LSU’s Pennington Biomedical Resarch experts on creative ways to manage finicky eating habits and take home some delicious (and quick!) dinner and snack recipes that even the pickiest eaters will love.
The class begins at 10 a.m. in Alexander’s cafe and will last an hour. Pennington social worker Allison Davis will explore the psychology behinds kids and nutrition followed by registered dietitian Renee Puyau demonstrating and sampling a simple fruit and veggie recipe.
