Alexander’s Highland Market sponsored a booth at the Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge’s 31st annual Capital Chefs’ Showcase at the River Center downtown last week. Executive Chef Michael Bogdan prepared and served attendants with three crowd-pleasing signature dishes: Alexander’s Boudin, Smoked Sausage and Crawfish Pasta, and Cajun Smoked Salmon Canapes.
The event included a silent and live auction as well as music by the V-Tones. A package for Bite and Booze Blogger Jay Ducote to cook and prepare a meal for a group of 10 with ingredients from Alexander’s sold at the live auction for $1500.
