Alexander’s will hold its first Pop-Up Arts Market on Sunday, Nov. 23, from noon until 4 p.m., featuring local artists and artisans working in paints, metals, wood, and other media. There will be free face painting for kids, and a hands-on children’s art project guided by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. In addition, culinary artist Chef Peter Sclafani will be sign copies of his cookbook Seasons of Louisiana. 

From Terri Dakmak, who uses watercolors on canvas to create vibrant and whimsical images of Louisiana, to Shanna Lavin, who handcrafts original metal trays and other exclusive gifts, the juried arts market will feature a variety of local talent.
