Meier, who hails from Germany’s Black Forest region, graduated from Geisenheim University, the leading enology school in Europe. After serving in the army and working in computer science, Meier became involved in the winemaking industry in Texas before moving to Napa Valley. He worked as an assistant winemaker with Husch before joining the Kendall-Jackson team in 2001.

From our first course (Frisee Crab Salad) paired with Jackson Estate Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay to a fifth course finish of Alexander’s Creme Brûlée paired with Stonestreet Estates Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, the meal, accompanied by stories and winemaking insight from Meier, is sure to be a rare treat. Other wines will include Jackson Estate Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, Les Voisins Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, and Jackson Estates Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,
