Alexander’s Floral Team Leader Glenna Bethay shone again in her second year of participation in the city’s Dining by Design event which benefits Cypress Spring Mercedarian Prayer Center. Assigned to create floral centerpieces depicting the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden, Bethay mixed succulents, raindeer moss, and pastel roses with candlelight and natural stone fruit ornaments. Floral team members Amanda Himel and Angel King (pictured above to the right of Bethay) assisted in designing the tablescapes. The results were stunning.
Dining by Design invites celebrity chefs from across the country to prepare gourmet meals for tables that are then decorated by local florists and designers. Alexander’s provided decor for the tables served by the local and legendary Chef John Folse.
