Neither did some of the 6,000 participants of the Louisiana Marathon last weekend. But they do now. In addition to serving up 750 bowls of vegan red beans and rice made with Fieldroast vegan sausage, store manager and executive chef Michael Bogdan displayed a sampling of the many and varied vegan-friendly products from our shelves. We made lots of new friends from Baton Rouge and surrounding areas but also from far and wide – the race boasted runners from all 50 states and 7 countries.
