Pennington Biomedical Research Center on Perkins Road invites people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in their clinical trials. All of the studies are free, and some offer compensation.

Food bank says thanks

The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank sends many thanks to our Alexander’s community for the generous response to both Trevor’s City Wide Food Drive and the summer campaign, “Check out hunger.” Alexander’s gave the most in donations during the latter, which raised important summer funds for the local charity. In addition, you filled an orange barrel for the 10-year-old boy with terminal cancer whose wish was to feed the hungry.
