Alexander’s Highland Market, Red Stick Moms Blog, and Pennington Biomedical Research Center are collaborating to guide local moms as they prepare healthy meals for their families in 2015.
Members of Red Stick Moms Blog joined us recently for a night out to tour the store, learn more about healthy eating, visit, and enjoy door prizes and refreshments. Woman’s Wellness Center dietician Melissa Martin guided members of RSMB, our event partner and co-organizer, throughout the market, handing out recipes and shopping tips for busy moms.
We’ve had a wonderful response to our guided healthy eating tours of Alexander’s that begin Friday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. led by nutrition expert Kendra Julian-Baker, a registered nurse whose focus is patient education.
